SEEDFINANCE Corporation is a wholesale microfinance institution providing financial, technical, and business development services to coops, rural banks, and NGOs in 12 administrative regions, 31 provinces, and more than a hundred towns and cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in the Philippines. These microfinance institutions serve a combined outreach of more than 400,000 micro-, small-, and medium-scale entrepreneurs, mostly women, in the countryside.

Entrepreneurs you see on MNM’s site are clients of field partners in need of funding – not marketing material. When you browse entrepreneurs’ profiles on the site, choose someone to lend to, and then make an investment, you are helping a real poor person who is striving to become initially a micro-entrepreneur eventually into small- and medium-scale economic player in his/her local community.

Throughout the course of the investment (12 months), you can receive email journal updates on the sponsored entrepreneur and dividends of your investment. You then decide to have your investment utilized by someone else in need or opts to have it returned to you.

Field Partners of SEEDFINANCE are experts in microfinance operation and is carefully choosing qualified entrepreneurs in need to be sponsored. Through MNM, our partners upload their entrepreneur profiles directly to the site so you can choose whom to sponsor. When you do, not only do you get a unique experience connecting to a specific entrepreneur in a remote poor community, but our microfinance partners can do more of what they do, more efficiently.

Monitoring is ensured by making sure that MNM provides a data-rich, transparent investment platform. We are constantly working to make the system more transparent to show how money flows throughout the entire cycle, and what effect it has on the people and institutions lending it, borrowing it, and managing it along the way.
