She first availed a Php. 5,000.00 loan from LMPC (US$22). Gradually, she increased her loan to expand her food business and to establish new businesses. LMPC was there to provide Rowena Business Development Services.

She now owns a profitable hardware and electrical supply store, construction materials shop, heavy equipments, and an internet café. Rowena is one of the LMPC clients with loan size of up to P2M (US$44,000).

Myrna Ignario, a member of LMPC since 2003, is into bag-making project with her Entrepreneur Success Stories - Myrna Ignarioown start-up capital of PhP1,000.00 (US$22). LMPC provided microfinance loan to Ms. Ignario in the amount of P5,000 (US$111), coupled with technical assistance and product marketing. Myrna able to increase her production of bags 60-fold.

Today, the loan that she’s availing from LMPC is more than P300,000.00 (US$6,000) without past due or any form of delinquency. She employs 15 persons including family members and is earning an average of 75,000/month (US$1,666), she has 9 high speed sewing machines, a vehicle service for purchasing and deliveries. Her enterprise led her to acquire her own house and lot worth P400,000 (US$8,000).
